I have been making hats like crazy lately! Its been keeping me extra busy! I started my own little website called Sweet Child of Mine. Im having fun creating new colors and new styles. People love the owls!! Im trying to find new creative ways for the owls just to keep it fun! :) I love the ones with the sleepy eyes!

Reese's first day of preschool

Well my little Reesie girl started preschool! She is beyond excited about it! My...I'm just excited for her to have friends to play with while Joshua is off to school. She loved her first day! She kept asking me when i was leaving! :) I don't think this child has any fears. When i came back to pick her up she kept saying, "I'm coming back tomorrow right?" She wants to do everything that her big brother does..i just don't want her to grow up that fast!

I love you my little peanut!! So proud of you on your first day!

A friend of mine posted this on Facebook today and i thought it was great!

Do i work? Uh, yes. I am a Mom! That makes me an alarm clock, cook, maid, a doctor, fashion advisor, waitress, teacher, nanny, nurse, handyman, security officer, photographer, counselor, chauffeur, a lifelong student, and event planner, a person assistant, an ATM, & a comforter. I don't get holidays, sick pay or days off. I work through the DAY & NIGHT. I am on call every hour for the rest of my life.

How true is that! I know a few people who really think that being a stay at home mom is so easy and simple. That a SAHM does nothing but sit on the couch and play with the kids or sit on the internet all day long. I have stopped arguing with them because they will never understand! :)

My Crazy Kinley

This child is a handful!!
She is a climber. She has learned how to climb her way up on the couch and she loves that! She thinks she so cool that she did that on her own! If there's a box around she will climb in it. Even if that means she has to go head first.
Her new things is gloves! She loves having things go on her hand. It is so funny!! Even when you put her clothes on and her hands havent made it out of the hole yet, she cracks up! She is my sweet Joshie and crazy Reese all in one!!
Josh takes the back of her shirt and pulls it up over her head and her arms get pushed up in the air and she runs around the house with this silly laugh! I have to get it on video before she hates it!

My Reesie Girl!

She is going to be starting Pre-K in just a week and a half! She's gonna be gone 3 days a week. I cant believe this time is already here. Not sure what i'm gonna be doing with my time! :)

Reese has changed so much in the last few months! Her attitude has gotten so much better and that sweet girl that i know she is shows more and more! She is the sweetest big sister! She always wants to hold Kinley and Kinley doesn't want any part of it!! She LOVES her big brother! Now that he has started school she is so bored! I'm trying to keep her entertained but she keeps saying, "after we're done can we PLEASE go pick up bubby?" So I'm excited for her to start school and makes some new friends!

She is loving her hair right now! She loves that she can touch it on her back! Me, personally, i'm ready to chop it off!! :)

The day i have been dreading for the last 5 years!!!

Joshua started Kindergarten on Monday! I have been dreading this day, and the same time excited for this day! I cant believe this little man is old enough for me to drop him off outside and walk to his class on his own! I know he is loving every minute of it!! This kid LOVES to learn! I know he is gonna blow his teachers away with his kindness and smarts!

Watching him walk from my car to go inside makes me so proud of him! I am so thankful for the boy he is becoming. He is so kind hearted and sweet. On the way to school this morning he was talking about how something was so beautiful. It melted my heart to him say that something was beautiful! I dont care what it was, just hearing those words come out of his mouth pulled at my heart strings!

Joshua Aaron..I am so proud of you, the boy you are, and the man you will become!! I couldnt ask for anything more from you! You always amaze me in everything that you do. I love you so much and look forward to all your accomplishments in school!

First tooth..........GONE!!!

Well Joshua officially lost his first tooth!! The adult tooth actually grew behind his baby teeth. It took him forever to get that baby tooth out. He was so nervous that it was gonna hurt him. I kept showing him videos on youtube how kids used strings to pull out their teeth. He would run upstairs before the kids would shut the door and the tooth would pop out!! It was funny!! Finally i was walking behind him down the stairs and at the bottom of the stairs he says, "What the heck is this?" In his had his tooth had just fallen out on its own!

This morning while brushing his teeth i noticed the tooth next to it is starting to break the surface. THIS IS ALL HAPPENING TO FAST FOR ME!! :) I want those baby teeth forever!

The tooth fairy left him a cool $2 bill and note!

Another update on Reese

Reese had her neurology appointment a few weeks ago. It was probably the most uneventful dr appointment i have ever been to. I was very disappointed! I guess going in i kind of knew that she was gonna stay on the meds because she had a few seizures in the last couple weeks, so i knew that wasn't going to change. I wasn't prepared for her to tell me that she has to be on meds for a minimum of 2 years! That was pretty much the only new information i got. I guess i just want more answers and there really isn't any. We just talked about the seizures and they are pretty confident that she will grow out of them. We will need to up her meds as she grows over the next 2 years. Her dosage is based on her weight and right now they have her on a low dosage just to start out.

We have taken away the Leapster. She has only asked for it once and we just tell her that we don't know where it is. We let her play with the iphone, but very rarely. That doesn't seem to bother her at all when she plays it. Now we have taken away the tv's in the car. That seems to be causing her seizures now. She has had a couple of them in the last few weeks and they are always in the car with the tv on. I have tried to look up if it has any effect but i cant find anything! The only thing that i find that has both seizures and portable dvd players is articles about people bringing them with them when they are having an EEG.

Well i think thats pretty much where we are at now! I will probably call today and tell them about the portable dvd players and they will probably call back with a new dosage for her. The one and only side effect of this medication is behavioral problems, acting out in aggression. She did that before so im not sure if its the meds or her! :) It can get worse the higher the dosage gets. Plus she's starting Pre-K in September, so this should get even more interesting! :)

Update on Reese

Reese has been doing good since she was in the hospital. I was actually hoping that she would get off her meds in July when we go back to see the neurologist. Well i was wrong.

A week and a half ago Josh went away for the weekend, and every time he goes away someone gets sick! I even told him before he left, "I wonder who will get sick this time?" Maybe i jinxed myself!

My mom came in that Saturday that Josh was gone so i wasnt entirely by myself with the kids. We just borrowed Wii fit from my neighbor and the kids were playing it. As soon as Reese stepped off the board she had a small seizure. I wanted to crumble. It was a small one, only lasting maybe 10 - 15 seconds. This was a Saturday so i couldnt call the neurologist and he told us at the hospital not to bring her back to the hospital when she has another one. So i had to wait until Monday to call. Well Sunday comes and Josh comes home. It was hot so we brought out the pool and the kids were playing in it. Well at some point that day we think she had another one. We didnt actually see it but we just new she had one when she kept complaining that she was so tired. She gets pretty lethargic after she has one. Of course the longer they are the worse she gets.

So Monday rolls around and i called and left a message for the dr. They called back on Wednesday and told me that we had to up her meds. I told them that the Leapster and Wii might be causing them and she told me to keep her away from them until we can control her seizures with her meds.

She has been on her new dosage for a week now and yesterday she had a pretty good seizure. It lasted probably 40 seconds. Thats almost as long as the one she had when we took her to the hospital. This time her arm had a little twitch in it.

I feel so hopeless. There is absolutely nothing i can do for her when she has them. That is such a hard thing to watch and know that i cant do anything but hold her and let it pass.

We realized that it might have something to do with the Leapster and the Wii. She was playing with the Leapster when she had her big one and then playing with the Wii when she had another one. When you turn on the Leapster is gives you a warning about kids having seizures. It says...Rarely, flashes can trigger photosensitive seizures, read parent guide warnings and cautions before playing.

How nice is that????? So i am thinking about getting rid of all video games.

Just still hard for me to believe that this is happening to her and hard to think that my 3 year old has a neurologist!

**Sorry if this post seems like im rushing through it! I typed up another one and it was probably 3 times longer and then Miss Kinley came up and hit a key on the keyboard and erased the whole thing! So i wasnt to thrilled about typing it all over again! :)**

Joshie's graduation from pre-K

Today was Joshua's graduation from pre-k. He started going to Ridgekids in September. I wanted him to get a taste of school before he had to start going 5 days a week, all day long. This school was Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9-2:30. He LOVED it!! He loved everything about it! New friends, great teacher and tons of learning! A few of his friends will be going to the same Elementary school as him. So that will be great for him!

This was pretty much the face we got the whole time. He is not big about being in front of crowds!

He sang and did all the hand movements to the songs.

Getting his "diploma" from the director of the school, Debbie. His teacher is talking about him at this moment also. Saying what school he will be going to and that he wants to be a Fireman when he grows up!

Everything is good! WHAT A RELIEF!! This is very typical with the type of seizures the dr thinks she is having. So according to the dr, they say she is having Absance Seizures and that they will pass and she will probably never have another one again. LETS HOPE SO!!

Reese's Dance Recital

Reese has been taking a tap class at the MAC (Mansfield Activity Center) for the last few months. She has been loving it!! She had her first recital last night. Once teacher put on this whole recital. There were 5 different classes and each class had their own dance. The recital was called "A Day At The Circus." Reese's dance was the Lion Tamers. It was so cute!!! She danced her whole dance and loved every bit of attention she got from it!! I think she is going to be a performer when she grows up.

Angel/ Ranger game

The Mansfield Youth Baseball Association sets up this parade at the Ranger game every year for all the players. This year they just happen to be playing the Angels!! :)

So with a few other teams mates they were able to walk around the field right before the game started. I think Josh was more excited then Joshie.
There were so many kids..it was crazy! Last year they over 7,000 people purchase tickets for this. So the parade took forever. It was fun to watch. Big smiles on these kids faces. Some of them walking around cheering for the their team or the Rangers. These kids were having a blast!

Joshie had his 5th birthday party!! I cant believe it!! He had a blast with all his friends! His first birthday were i think he had more friends then mom and dad did! :) He loved it!!
We had a baseball themed party and everyone had to wear there favorite team shirts/jerseys. It was fun!!

We made another trip to the zoo a while ago. This time it was for Joshies birthday and we were able to go with my parents!! They came down to spend Joshie's 5th birthday with him.
I was determined to get pictures of me with the kids on the elephant and then Kinley had to get her own picture with the elephant.

It was a successful trip!!!

Absence Seizures

Well these are the type of seizures the dr's think Reese has. They are called absence seizures. Not pronounced how you think they are. I copied this from the internet. This really does explain A LOT!!

What are they like?

Here's a typical story: Frank, a 7-year-old boy, often "blanks out" anywhere from a few seconds to 20 seconds at a time. During a seizure, Frank doesn't seem to hear his teacher call his name, he usually blinks repetitively, and his eyes may roll up a bit. During shorter seizures, he just stares. Then he continues on as if nothing happened. Some days Frank has more than 50 of these spells.

How long do they last?

Usually less than 10 seconds, but it can be as long as 20. They begin and end suddenly.

Tell me more

Absence seizures are brief episodes of staring. (Although the name looks like a regular English word, your neurologist may pronounce it ab-SAWNTZ.) Another name for them is petit mal (PET-ee mahl). During the seizure, awareness and responsiveness are impaired. People who have them usually don't realize when they've had one. There is no warning before a seizure, and the person is completely alert immediately afterward.

Simple absence seizures are just stares. Many absence seizures are considered complex absence seizures, which means that they include a change in muscle activity. The most common movements are eye blinks. Other movements include slight tasting movements of the mouth, hand movements such as rubbing the fingers together, and contraction or relaxation of the muscles. Complex absence seizures are often more than 10 seconds long.

Who gets them?

Absence seizures usually begin between ages 4 and 14. The children who get them usually have normal development and intelligence.

What's the outlook?

In nearly 70% of cases, absence seizures stop by age 18. Children who develop absence seizures before age 9 are much more likely to outgrow them than children whose absence seizures start after age 10.

Children with absence seizures do have higher rates of behavioral, educational, and social problems.

What else could it be?

Absence seizures can resemble some complex partial seizures or episodes of daydreaming:

What is the person like immediately after the episode?	Alert.	Complex partial: Confused. Absence: Alert.

How is the diagnosis made?

The EEG (electroencephalogram), which records brain waves, is helpful in diagnosing absence seizures. Having the child breathe very rapidly often will produce a seizure. Images of the brain such as CT and MRI scans are usually normal, so they are seldom needed if the EEG and other features are typical.

Reese's EEG did show a couple of spikes but the Neurologist wasnt a 100% sure, because she is a child and cant stay still for 30 minutes. So he said it could be the problem or it could have been her just moving around.

Reesie

I just wanted to write about our weekend with Reese. Its been scary, glad its over and hoping to never have to deal with that again.

Friday after noon we were sitting together and all of the sudden i saw this blank look on her face and blank look in her eyes. She started chewing on the left side of her cheek and looking like she was about to throw up. This went on for about a minute then i picked her up and layed her on my lap. She then started rubbing her eyes and i just kept asking her what was wrong. I never got an answer from her so i just kept asking. When she was rubbing her eyes she was trying to answer me but all i heard was mumbling. Finally she looked at me and i could see that she was back and when i asked her what was wrong she said "nothing." I asked her if she knew or remembered what just happen and she said no. All she said was how tired she was. She got up from my lap and went over to the couch and the second her head hit the pillow she was out. That was the second i thought that maybe she just had a seizure. I wasn't sure because all i knew about seizures was that people go into convulsions and then immediately get tired and fall asleep. So i went to the trusty computer and looked it up. It talked about all different kinds of seizures and then i started reading about seizures like the one that Reese just had. All i could think was that there was no way my little healthy Reesie just had a seizure. There is nothing mentally or physically wrong with her. I started calling her dr and telling them what she just went through. Normally they would ask for my number and return my call. Not this time! They told me to go straight to the emergency room. Not something i wanted to hear! I called Josh and thankfully he left work early that day and was almost home. He just met me there. ( For those of you that dont know, we have a new hospital that opened up about 3 minutes from our house. ITS AWESOME! :)) While we were there the dr said it sounded like a seizure but couldn't be sure until they saw it happen. The did a CAT scan and some blood work and everything was normal. The dr then said that they were sending us home and if it happens again to go straight to Cook Childrens Hospital. So while they were discharging us she did it again. This one was not as big as the one before. It lasted may 30 seconds. Josh ran out to get a nurse and she saw the tail end of it. Dr came in and said well we are going to transfer her over to Cooks. So in the ambulance we go. Reese thought that was the coolest think in the world! She kept saying "this is fun!!"

Now we are at another hospital, being watched by more nurses, waiting on another dr. She has another seizure. All the nurses saw it this time. Let me just say that Cooks was PACKED!! There were 350 waiting in the waiting room. Once the nurses saw her seize they moved her to the top of the waiting list. Another dr came down and ordered and EKG. When the EKG was over and we started taking the tape off she started crying. It was close to midnight and neither one of us had much to eat. She had another seizure. Those results came back showing nothing also. The dr told us that they wanted to keep her over night to monitor her. So then we had to wait again! Finally 2:30 in the morning rolls around and we finally get to go up to our room. Of course when we get there they have to do her blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen level and weigh her, answer a bunch of similar questions and tell the story all over again. Finally we are able to go to sleep. It was probably 3:30. They hooked her up to a monitor so i felt good with sleeping instead of watching her like a hawk all night long.

Morning comes along and we get woken up early because they have to take her blood pressure and temp. After that she had another seizure. That was not how i wanted the day to start.
We had to wait around because the neurology dr wanted her to have and EEG. It was scheduled for 11 and ended up happening shortly after 2:00. She was such a trooper during the whole thing. It took a half hour for the test to be complete. She was so annoyed by the end of it.

After this test we again had to wait to see the dr. He came in around 5 and told us that there were a couple of spikes on the monitor but nothing to make him think that is the problem. So once again the test showed nothing. He said we could go home and gave her some meds to take.

There is a build a bear inside the children's hospital. What a good idea!!! My sister was nice enough to call them and give them her CC number so Reese could pick out anything she wanted! She loved it!!

Well we ended up getting home around 8 Saturday evening. Needless to say i was WIPED OUT!! Physically and emotionally. Josh hugged me and finally i could just let it all out and i couldn't stop. She is on meds now and hasn't had a seizure since Saturday morning. I cant stop starring at her. She just looks at me and says "can i help you" or "stop starring at me!"
She is scheduled for and MRI next Friday. I will update then.

MY PRETTY LITTLE LADY!!

I love this little girl so much!! We have so much together while bubby is at school during the week. Next year she will be going to school for 3 days (when did she get so big!) and Joshie will be going full time....I am so not looking forward to September!!!

Her favorite thing to do right now is snapping. She learned how to do and has been practicing for months. She gets so excited when she can do it.

Every day she likes to remind me how big she gets when she sleeps at night. Just blows my mind how fast these last 5 years have gone.

MY LITTLE KIN KIN

I cant keep her little anymore. She stands on everything and gets the biggest smile on her face when she does it.

That little smile just warms my heart!!

She LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The end song is her favorite. No matter where she is she stops and watches.

"Maybe i will try and get a little closer!" She just couldnt stand up fast enough.

This was a dog bed but the dogs never used it. Perfect spot for her to enjoy her morning bottle while watching Mickey Mouse.

Some of you have heard about this conversation on Facebook. So this is for the family and friends who haven't yet.

We used to give Joshie and Reese a bath together. I was started to get the feeling that maybe it was time to start bathing them separately. They are getting bigger and more curious..wink wink!

Well they were in the bath together and Reese was doing some acrobatic thing. Putting her legs up on one side of the tub and her arms on the other side and pulling herself out of the water. She was so proud! At that time Joshie was getting into the tub and once he was in her says to Reese "Are you so sad that your dinger is cut off?"

I had to run out of the bathroom because i was dying!!! That has got to be the funniest thing i have ever heard in my life!!!

Needless to say they no longer take baths together! :)

The weather has been so nice here lately. So we decided to head out to the zoo one weekend. The Fort Worth zoo is one of the best in the country. I love it!!!

We always take a picture with this cute little elephant named Bonnie! Kinley was passed out so she missed her first picture with Bonnie. We are probably going to get year passes so im sure there will be lots more opportunities!

Reese was not scared at all to touch the snake! Joshie and Josh stayed way back! :)

Last week was a big week for littlest! She is going to be an overachiever!! :) FINE BY ME!! She learned how to go from laying down to sitting up all by herself. She never was interested in sitting up. She had places to explore! She liked doing the army crawl around the house. So she learned to sit on her own without any help!

Then one day i'm sitting on the couch and she just pops up infront of me. The little turkey learned out to pull herself up to stand. She was so proud of herself. Wish i had a camera at the time to capture her big smile when she did it!

Then she crawled...the right way!!! She has been doing the army crawl for awhile and getting up on her hands a knees and just rocking. Every once in a while i would watch her and she would put an arm out in front but then fall back on her belly. Well she finally figured it out! It was a slow crawl like in her mind she saying...right arm, right leg, left arm, left leg. I love watching them learn new things all by themselves!! Amazing what a baby learns in the first years of their lives!

Okay really were has the time gone!! This little man is going to be 5 in a month and a half! I really cant believe it! That also means he is going to start Kindergarten next school year. That just makes me sad. I am not looking forward to him being gone all day long for 5 straight days. Last night i cried over Reese's old baby clothes that we are giving away. I cant imagine what the first day of Kindergarten is going to be like.

I HAVE LOST MY MIND!!!

Well we got a new puppy. My friend works for a vet and she posts pictures of dogs all the time

Last Friday Joshies coach put together a pizza party so they could pass out trophy's. The kids were so proud of their trophy's!! It was really cute to see the big smiles on their faces! All weekend long Joshie carried around his trophy to show EVERYONE we came in contact with. He would sit in his seat in the car and kept asking Josh and I if we were proud of him. It was so sweet!!

He is excited to play again next season!!

Halloween was fun this year!! The kids understood it so much more then last year. Two days before they kept asking us if it was time to get candy. Thats all they wanted and now we ended up with two huge bowls of candy. I DONT WANT IT!!!

Jason had a Halloween party this year and Josh and I even dressed up. There were some really great costumes there! Then yesterday a friend that we meet through our neighbor invited us to her house for a carnival. They did a great job!! They had 10 games that they put together in their backyard for the kids. Kids had a blast!! We got so much candy that i wasnt looking forward to trick or treating at home.

BUT...we did anyway and got sooo much more candy.

The kids dentist is giving out money for candy this year.

Think i just might do it!! :)

Well i havent been the greatest blogger lately.

Kinley was 4 months old on Saturday. I hate how fast time is going. I already miss the little tiny baby and i am dreading when she is out of the stage that she is. I love it right now. She is all smiles and just babbles as loud as she can!! It is the cutest thing. Gonna miss it when its gone. :(

Josh's grandma came to visit us this summer. Of course she comes right in the middle of summer and it was a hot one this year. We are always so happy to see her. She is the sweetest lady with the cutest laugh!

Last night was Joshie's very first t-ball practice. Josh and I were a little worried how this was going to turn out. I thought he wouldnt do it. He tends to be a little shy around new people but not kids.

The very first thing they did was teach them how to run the bases. Joshie didnt want any part of this. Josh ended up giving him a little pep talk and before we knew it Joshie was running the bases and having a blast!!!

He was having so much fun!! So glad he loved it and didnt pout the whole time.

HAPPY 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Well today Josh and I celebrate are 7 year anniversary!!! Its crazy to look back on the short 7 years and see what we have done. From moving half way across the country to TX in our first year of marriage, to getting ready to have our 3rd child!! I am so glad to have Josh in my life and so glad that he is the one that i am going to be spending my life with. I really couldnt ask for anyone better to be my husband or the father of my children!

For our anniversary all he told me was that i needed to pack a bag for an overnight trip. No clue where but i knew and he knew that we couldnt go far with me being almost 9 months pregnant!

So we got in the car Saturday afternoon and he told me that the drive would take about and hour and 15 minutes. No clue were that would take us!!

We ended up at the gorgeous Bed and Breakfast in Grandbury.

Our room...we had the only room in the house that had its own bathroom!! Thats wonderful when your almost 9 months pregnant and you pee every hour at night!! :)

Roses and my favorite...chocolate covered strawberries. The owner made them herself and they were in the top 3 of the best i have ever had!!

This bathroom was probably bigger then my bedroom. It was so nice!!

After we settled in we headed to the small downtown area. Just our luck th

ey were having a street fair!! Love those!!! We walked around for a while and then Josh surprised me with tickets to Grandbury Live. Its a concert that every Friday and Saturday nights. That night happen to be 50's night. It was so good!!! The music was great and the entertainers were funny!! The lady next to us said she has been to nearly 900 shows! Then we found out she is the mother of the owner. She was hilarious too!!

So after dinner at the steak house in town and the concert we got back to our room about 9:30 and Josh had requested cheese and crackers for us. So this wonderful set up was in our room waiting for us when we got there! It was sooooo GOOD!!

I am still shocked from the whole thing!!! Josh has never done anything like this before. He made it all worth the wait!!! I loved every minute of it!!

MY SWIMMERS

On Friday i thought it would be a good idea to go and try swimming at my sisters house with my neighbor and her son. It is so hot here right now and unfortunately its just going to get worse. My sister has a really cool pool. Its great for the kids. There is a waiting pond for the kids to play in and there is a water slide too.

Well i took both kids thinking it was going to be hard to keep and eye on them both while we were there. I was WRONG!!! Once Joshie got the life jacket on he was off and swimming!! I was so amazed how fearless he was in the water. He was going down the slide and going under with no problems. He would choke on the water but it didnt bother him at all. Reese was jumping off the sides to me and eventually i got her to go down the slide also. They LOVED it!!!

We went back today with daddy just to show him how great they did in the water!

MY BIG GIRL!!

Since the new baby is coming i didn't want Reese still in a crib along with a new baby. Plus i needed the crib for Kinley. :)

I bought this bed from our wonderful neighbors and then spray painted it white. My new favorite thing to do!!!

She loves it! It was so cute to see her asleep in it for the first time last night. I was actually up at 3:30 and i had to go check on her again. It is the cutest little bed!!

KINLEY'S ROOM

Well yesterday i got Kinley's room finished. It probably wouldn't of happened so fast but i was lucky enough to have a great friend come down and help me!! THANKS BREANNE!!!

It turned out really cute! The hardest part was paining the walls. They use to be a dark blue and then we went to a light yellow. YIKES!! Thanks to my sister for helping me because i probably would of had a nervous breakdown! I hate painting!!!

Then i took Joshies old dresser from when he was a baby and spray painted it white...yes spray painted! :) Added some new knobs on it and its a whole new dresser. I was gonna do the same thing to his old crib but then i thought that wouldn't be a good idea for a baby to chew on. So i took Reeses crib and put it in Kinleys room. Reese now has a big girl bed!!

Anyway enjoy the pictures!!

Walls are still a little bare but i am not 100% done yet.

Thats the comforter for her bed, but babies dont use comforters so it makes for a good wall hanging!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY

Well today is Joshies 4th birthday!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! I know i say this all the time, but, i really cant believe how fast it has gone! What happen to my little baby? He is turning into such a handsome and very sweet boy!

I LOVE THIS KID SOOOO MUCH! I love when he wakes up in the morning he comes running to me to give me a hug. Then we have to cuddle on the couch for a few minutes before he runs off. I love how sweet he tries to be to Reese even though she can be so mean to him and knows how to push his buttons. Then he gets his feelings hurt because he is trying to be nice and she isnt. I love when we are in the car and he starts the "who loves me" game that we play. When it comes to everyone else he is always the first to shout "I DO!" I love the moments when he comes to me just to give me a hug and tell me that he loves me. I love when we lay on the couch together at night before he goes to bed. I love how much he always asks about the relatives he never gets to see and how much he misses them and loves them like Mema, Pop, Great Mondee (Josh's Grandma) and my brothers family. Even there dog Chelsea.

I really could go on and on about how sweet this kid is but i will just leave you with some pictures of how handsome he is!! :)

OUR CALIFORNIA TRIP

Well we have been back for about 3 weeks now and things are finally getting back to normal. The time change was the biggest problem. On the way home we had to get back the 2 hour time difference but then they went and through the time change in there. So we really had a 3 hour time difference to get use to. The kids are finally getting use to it!!

We had such a great time in CA!! We didnt get to see everyone we wanted to see and the ones we did see we didnt get to see enough of. We did the best we could with the short time that we had. We were busy from the second we stepped off the plane till the time we went back to the airport. We had a very short visit with Josh's family, went to the beach, Knotts Berry Farm with some great friends, Disneyland with the Grand Parents, lunch with some more great friends, a reunion with a friend i havent seen since highschool, and Joshs best friend had a bbq for us to meet all our other friends that we didnt see through out the week. It was a great and exhausting week!!

Here are just a few pictures from the trip. I am still mad at myself for not taking more pictures with our friends that we got to see. Owell....NEXT TIME!! :)

ITS A.....

GIRL!!!!!

Well we found out on Tuesday that we are having another little girl! We are all (even the boys in the house) so excited!

We took the kids with us to the ultrasound this time. Joshie and Reese loved it! They were so intrigued to see the little one on the tv. The lady who was doing the ultrasound pointed out everything for them. They loved it!!

Her little legs were crossed the whole time we were there. I told the lady that i was NOT leaving until she told me what it was and was pretty sure of it too! She played around for about 5 minutes. Trying to push the baby all over so she would uncross her legs. We saw "nothing" there. Plus she assured me that it is a girl, but they can never been 100%.

So now we are onto a name for this little one. I feel bad that now we know she is a girl we should have a name for her. Hopefully soon. The list is getting shorter and shorter.

LONG TIME NO WRITE

Well hello readers!!! I know its been a long time since i have written. This pregnancy started out very rough and it has gotten a lot better. Slowly getting my energy back, but as pregnant women know you don't fully get your energy back until....well never!!!!

Well lets see...we had Christmas. My family was able to make it down from Colorado and have a Texas Christmas this year. We actually had a white Christmas! CRAZY!!! Christmas Eve it did nothing but snow. Unfortunately not much of stayed. We got about an half an inch, but it covered everything and made it really pretty for Christmas morning! Of course we all a little crazy on presents this year. PRESENTS GALORE!!! I guess with very spoiled kids it can get a little out of hand. The important thing is that all the kids had a good time and enjoyed every moment.

Then we had New Years...this will be short. I think i went to bed about 10:30 and Josh brought in the new year all by himself!

Now we are in 2010....is till cant believe that!!!

Joshie is going to be 4 years old this year, actually in just a few short months. I am trying to get him into some kind of preschool program. I had no idea how hard that is during the middle of a school year!!! I will keep trying though. He is getting to the point were his is getting bored with me. :( He keeps telling me he wants friends to play with. We went to Frisco to visit some CA friends that live out here and he was so excited that he was going to have a friend to play with for the day he comes up to me and hugs my leg and says "thank you momma!"

Then there is Reese. The angel who's halo is being held up by devil horns! :) That's what her Uncle Jay says. She is destructive, sweet, mean and lovable. She loves her brother to pieces but knows exactly how to push his buttons and send him into a huge meltdown. She just turned 2 at the beginning of December but has started her terrible 2's long before that. She loves loves loves to dance and sing!! She loves the Black Eyed Peas and the song You've Got a Friend in Me from the movie Toy Story. She loves watching kids dance and sing on tv. Actually she is mesmerized by them. She will be in dance classes as soon as she is old enough!! She loved her first dance class and she wasn't even 2 yet. The teacher was very impressed with her and how much she learned. Actually she was the only one that participated in what was going on. She will show you how she learned to walk on her tippy toes and curtsy. It is so cute!! The teacher said that when the class starts up again in March for the 2 1/2 year olds to just go ahead and sing her up for it. She could see how much she loved it.

Now there is baby #3. Other then making me extremely sick for about 5-6 weeks. I have nothing to report just yet. Just with in the last few days i have been feeling this little one move around in there. We find out on February 9th what this one is going to be. Please keep your fingers crossed for a girl!! I really don't care what this one is going to be. I would just like a girl for Reese. All our friends have boys and boys on the way. Other then that everything is going good!!

Well i hope that gets everyone up to date on whats going on around here. Sorry it took so long to update the blog and hopefully i wont stay away for very long. I know blogs are no fun when there isn't any pictures. So i put up just a few of the kids.

HELLO READERS!!

I know it has been weeks actually maybe even months since i have written anything. Just thought i would update you on a few things.

WE ARE EXPECTING BABY ROMBERG #3!!!

This baby is the reason i havent written in a while. I have been horribly sick!! I dont even want to go into detail because i might feel sick again! :)

I am not due until June 28th so i have a loooooong way to go!

Thanksgiving was spent in Colorado with my family at my parents house. It is always great when we are all together. We will all be together this coming week for Christmas here in TX. I cant wait!!

Joshie is bugging me to get on the computer and play games, so hopefully it wont be months till i write again!! I will leave you with a cute video of little Miss Reese!!

DRAG RACES

We took Joshie the drag races this past weekend. We weren't really sure how much fun he would have or if he would even like them at all, but we had free tickets so we took a chance! Thankfully we had the head phones for him. He just kept those on the whole time and loved watching the cars. He would get a little bored in between the races but he had fun watching them.

GREEN GHOST

We had a rainy day a few days ago. So we were stuck inside. We did all kinds of stuff. I downloaded a bunch of kids music videos on youtube and the kids love that!! Joshie is learning out to use the mouse and click on the video he wants. I put a sticker

on the side of the mouse that he has to click until he gets more use to it. We played hungry hungry hippos, did puzzles and then i got creative!! :)

Well this is something we did when i worked at the day care, but we made butterflies. These are so fun and so easy for the kids to do.

First you cut out any shape you want out of wax paper. Make it easy for you for the last step! :) The cut out any color of tissue paper you want. Cut them in squares or have the kids rip it apart for you (that makes a GINORMOUS mess)

Put glue all over it and let the kids cover it with tissue paper.

She didnt get very far! She got bored :)

Doesnt look so cute but you have to cut all the pieces that hang over.

Then take your cut and trace it on any color paper you want. Then i just cut on both sides of the line you just made...make sure you do two of them. One for each side of your cut out.

Turned out so cute!!!

DANCE CLASS

Reese had her first dance class a few weeks ago. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! I put her in the class so she could play with other girls. All my friends and neighbors have boys so she has NO girlfriends. I feel bad for her. I also hoped this class would have more then 3 girls! :)

Well the first class was horrible!!!! Its started out good. We did some stretching and she did them with me. I thought she is going to have fun and be a good girl!! I COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!! We started using props to get the girls to dance and Reese wanted no part of it. She decided she was going to cry and cry and cry. She would run to the door and try to get out. Finally i just gave up and we left. Luckily the class is only a 1/2 hour and we only had about 10 more minutes left.

Oh one more thing...it turned out she was at the beginning of a week long sickness!! The second class, which we had this past weekend, went so good!! She had so much fun and love playing with all the props the teacher had and even playing with the 2 other girls!! YAH!!

HALEY BREANNE

Today is my nieces 11th birthday!!! 11!!!! REALLY? I cant believe it. Josh and I always remember the first day we met her and got to hold her. I was the happiest aunt in the world! (i actually have a picture of it but not on the computer)

Haley is a HUGE soccer fan and a GREAT soccer player!! Im pretty sure she is the best in her age group! She loves the Chelsea soccer team and has her room decorated in everything Chelsea blue! She has even named her dog Chelsea! :)

She wants to be a professional soccer player when she gets older and there is no doubt in my mind that she will accomplish it! She really is amazing at it!! I wish i was able to see her play more often. She even practices her autograph!!

She is growing up way to fast and i can only hope to be close to all of them someday!!

I love you Haley and i hope you have the best birthday you've ever had!!

WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO

I have been getting in touch with my crafty side lately! :)

It all started with this

What is it you ask?? Well my neighbor, Becky, asked me if i could sew her son a nap mat. He started preschool and needed one. She didnt like anything she found on line and wanted a pattern that Luke would like. So she found a very easy pattern on line and asked if i could do it. I HAVE NEVER sewn anything like this before. I am used to sewing little blankets and stuff that doesnt need a pattern. Well anyway..I DID IT!!! I was so proud!! :) It turned out so cute!

This is what it looks like when you roll it up..it even has a strap to throw around your shoulder.

Then i thought maybe i could make an outfit for Reese. So i bought a pattern that was labeled "easy." Mind you i havent sewn an outfit since i was in 7th grade. It took me a while and had to throw away the first outfit, but i didnt give up and i tried again and this is what i ended up with...

FRIEND FOREVER

Today we went to my nephews baseball game. Josh and I were in charge of watching the 4 kids. Our two and then my other nephews Cole and Jake. We were sitting there watching the game and all the kids were playing on the bleachers. Well Joshie comes up behind me and puts his arms around my neck to give me a hug. He then whispers in my ear "I'll be your friend forever."

I had sunglasses on so you couldn't see my eyes and Josh looks at me and says, "your crying aren't you?" OF COURSE I WAS!!! That was the sweetest thing i have ever heard in my life. I still get teary eyed when i tell the story and i have done it about 5 times today!

I LOVE THAT LITTLE MAN!!!!

AIDAN ROBERT BRYANT

Today is my nephews 9th birthday!! I cant believe he is 9 and in one more year going to be 10!!! YIKES!

Just a few things about Aidan

He is a lover!

He loves his brothers so much...always willing to help then with anything.

He is a mommy's boy!

He loves to play baseball and has been playing now for a few seasons. I love watching him play!

He loves Joshie like his little brother!

He ALWAYS gives me hugs when he sees me and when he leaves.

He loves going to school and hates when he has to miss a day..he always gets the perfect attendance award.

He has been on the honor roll ever since he has started school.

MUSCLES

This all started because i have been going to the gym a lot lately and i have been showing off my newly found muscles to Josh. :)

PROJECT

My mom was here a couple weeks ago and on her way to TX from CA she stayed in AZ with one of her long time friends. Her friend gave her these mint plants to plant when she got back to CO. Well she left them at our house and they smell so good that i couldnt let them to to waist. So we made an art project out of it. The only bad thing is that i dont have any non water proof paint or markers. So the first time we watered them all the coloring washed off.

After we planted them we set them by the window and left them alone to grow. Well i checked on them the next day and they didnt look very good..so i had to pull them out and stick them in just plain water. They are still there and doing good. So we will see what happens next.

SUNFLOWERS

Joshie came home yesterday from his grandma and grandpa with these in his hand. I have never gotten flowers from him before like this! It was so cute!!!

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!!!

Well finally Josh is 30!! It doesnt make me feel so old anymore telling people that my husband is 29 when I am almost 32! :)

EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME ADDITION

Yesterday my neighbor Becky and I had the opportunity to go and watch them film Extreme Makeover. It was about 40 minutes from our house. Becky's husband Nate was one of the plumbers for the house. So we got VIP tickets to go and watch. Well that meant that we got to sit in a tent with air condition in it. We we got there and it was close to 100 degrees and the air condition in the tent was broken. Owell we still had fun!!

Anyway, the house was for the Marshall family. Carlton Marshall was a Dallas Swat officer. He was serving a warrant and was shot in the neck. He was paralyzed and lost his hearing. If you want to read more of their story you can go here: http://extremecheldan.com/family.html.

It was extremely hot yesterday with very little shade for people to stand in. We kept debating on weather to leave or not because it did take a long time. We got there at 11 and left at 5. Remember it was 105 degrees yesterday also!!!! We ended up staying until they MOVED THE BUS and then we headed for the car. It really was an awesome thing to watch live. ESPECIALLY A CHANCE TO SEE TY!!! :)

When we first got there Ty was working in the new barn with the horses. The Marshall's volunteer at TROT. Therapeutic Rehabilitation of Texas. They designed this whole barn just so they could host sessions at their house.

Happy 60th birthday to the most amazing friend I have ever had!!! She has now been gone for almost 8 years and still not a day goes by that I dont think of her. I feel truly blessed to have had her in my life for as long as she was!! I am so glad that Courtney, Erin and Whitney are still a big part of my life.

4TH OF JULY

Hope everyone had a great 4th!!! We did! Our neighbors had a bbq....a bbq in 100 degree weather in the middle of summer in Texas! Crazy huh? It was a lot of fun. The food was delicious. We pulled out the blow up pool for the kids and turned on the sprinklers. I think the adults were about to jump in with all our clothes on just to try and cool down a little bit! We live close to a baseball field where they were setting off fireworks, so it was nice not to have to drive far or sit with crowds of people!

The 4th for me has always been my favorite time of year and a favorite memory for me growing up! I would ALWAYS go up to northern CA with my mom to visit her family in Chester. It is a very small town. There is only one main street and every year thousands and thousands of people would gather there to watch the parade. It always consists of fire trucks, logging trucks (kind of what the town is known for, they have their own logging mill in town) corvette clubs, dance clubs, boy scouts, family reunions and any company trying to get a little publicity. They are a lot of fun!!! Then we would gather at my uncles house for a bbq and great game of volleyball. It is a lot of fun and i miss it so much. Hard to go these days being here in Texas. My family was there this year and i wasn't able to go. Maybe next year!!!

BEAR

This is our new puppy Bear. We rescued him from the Fort Worth shelter. He is only 3 months old. He is very tiny right now and we really don't think he is going to be a big dog. We wanted something small for the kids to be able to play with. We had two big dogs and sometimes they were afraid to play with them. Bear doesn't even come up to Joshies knees right now. He is a cutie!!!!

SOCCER TIME

My nieces are big time soccer players!!! They have tournaments almost every weekend all year long. My oldest niece is one of the best in her league and her younger sister is not far behind. I was so happy that i was able to see one of their tournaments while i was there. Of course it was on the day i was leaving and i only got to watch one game each, but i was happy to see that!

Haley has been practicing her autograph for when she becomes a professional someday! :) There is no doubt in my mind that she wont either! Anybody who knows my brother knows that he loves soccer too, well he coaches Taeya's team and probably has taught Haley all she knows!

MORE COLORADO

Well i finally have my computer home again. It had to be rebuilt because i had a wonderful virus! Luckily i have a very talented brother to help out with that!! :)

COLORADO

Well I haven't had a new post since i left TX. When i am not sitting at home with the kids i am never on the computer. So i haven't done a post since i have been here in CO.

So a little update on us.

Colorado is gorgeous right now although it has rained almost everyday that i have been here. The kids are having a blast with their cousins! The girls are so good to them and just take them under their wings when they are together. Joshie has discovered his love for their huge trampoline!!! It is nice because it has that net all the way around it so he runs out there by himself and i don't have to worry about him falling off of it.

We have done quite a bit since we have been here. We went to the zoo and swimming a few times. Golden has the best community center for kids!!! It is all indoors and the water is heated. The kid pool is less them a foot deep so Joshie and Reese just run around. There is a big water slide in there also. Joshua LOVES it!!!! My brother told me to take Reese down but i was to chicken, so he did. Oh my gosh she had a huge smile the whole way down!! She is a little dare devil!

My parents, as most of you know, have a huge property up in the mountains. There are deer on their property almost everyday. The kids love it and they call them the reindeer. These deer let you stand about 20 yards from them. They keep an eye on you though!!!

Unfortunately i have only been to Del Taco once...I am sure we will hit it up a few times when Josh comes on Wednesday!!! We are going to try and go to Claim Jumper next Thursday, so i am excited about that. We don't have a CJ in Texas.

Well its nap time so i am off to take a nap with the kids!! :) Haven't been feeling well and it sucks!! Hope everyone is doing good!!!

CANE

This is our boxer Cane. We had to put Cane down on Wednesday. He was only 7 years old and the life span for a boxer is about 8 or 9 years. The last few days he was around he was going down hill so fast. I felt so bad for him because we had no idea what was going on with him at the time. Thankfully we have a friend who works at a vet and helped us out with him. We ended up taking in him an the vet examined him to find out that he had a massive tumor in his abdomen. It was taking up his whole abdomen and squishing all his other organs. It was awful!!!! Josh and I feel so horrible for letting get that bad. The vet told us that it could have happened in just a matter of months and there is nothing we could have done about it.

We will miss this dog even though he thought he was a little lap dog. He was so good with the kids and the kids loved him! Gin (our other dog) is so lonely now.

MORE FUN IN THE SUN

Our neighbors brought out the slip n slide yesterday. My nephews were over and the other kids on the block were out also. They all had way to much fun on the slip n slide!! With the little ones, they usually just lay on there tummy and then Josh or I will push them down the slide into the pool at the other end. They love it!! Reese even gets down on her tummy to be pushed!

Yesterday was such a nice day!! It was a little breezy so when the kids got wet with the cold water and then the wind blowing, the kids got really cold really fast! They didnt care. They would lay on the hot drive way and then head back to the slip n slide.

REESIES NEW DECOR

Well i have a very talented friend who really loves me!!! :) My friend Breanne came over and painted these beautiful flowers all over Reese's room last week! She really did an amazing job!! I love walking in there!! Everyday since she has done it, i love it more and more!

Not sure if i have blogged about Reese's obsession with bugs, but Breanne even painted bugs on the flowers for Reese. Reese loves going in there to find the bugs and point out the pretty flowers!

MY REESE

Reese and I spent a few hours together this afternoon. Of course i had my camera attached to my eye while we played together on the floor. She is just so photogenic!!!!

Then there is the purse!! This was my purse. I pulled it out of my box of purses a few weeks ago and ever since she has had it on! She loves this thing. She will wear it all day long if we let her. I have showed her how to put her toys in and she stashes things in there that she doesnt want her brother to have!!

MATOES

I got this idea from a friend of mine. She planted a bigger vegetable garden in her backyard. But with the dogs back there and the numerous bunnies i see around here, i didn't think it would be a good idea.

We were at Home Depot this weekend getting flowers for the front yard (my favorite thing to do!!) and i noticed that the veggies were buy one get one free. Well Joshie LOVES tomatoes!!! The little cherry tomatoes..no clue were he gets it from because neither Josh or I like tomatoes. Anyway i thought it would be fun for him to watch them grow and see where they come from. I would love to do a whole garden someday...maybe when the dogs are gone!!! :)

It was to bright for him...hence the face!

And of course i had to throw my stolen Bluebonnets in here. This is the state flower of Texas. So you are not allowed to pick them let alone up root them and plant them in your front yard!! Well i uprooted 3 of them and only one of them right now is growing....but i have hope for the other ones!! They are so pretty when you see a whole patch of them!!!!
