~A JOSHIE STORY~

Today I was getting dressed and the kids where in my room watching t.v.. I put on a dress that I haven't worn in a while because it is so dang hot and dresses are about the only thing you can keep cool in. I was examining myself in the mirror, probably like every woman does, wondering if I should wear it or change into my shorts. Just then Joshie looks at me and points to my dress and says "THAT'S PIRTTY!!!" Of course I had to keep it on!!!! :o)

~TRAIN RIDE~

Saturday was our family fun day!! Joshie is very into trains. He calls them choo choos. His grandpa (Josh's dad) has started quite a collection of Thomas the Trains for him! For all of you who really know him, you know its not a small collection of trains!! :o) That's the first thing Joshie goes to when he goes over there. He has his own choo choo room.

We also took my nephew Aidan. Joshie LOVES Aidan!! He is like Joshie's big brother. He does everything that Aidan does. He calls him A A, because he couldn't say his name when he was beginning to take.

Anyway, we took him on the train that runs in between Dallas and Fort Worth. We drove up to the airport (which is right in between) and got on the train there. It takes about 30 minutes to ride it to Dallas. Once you get to Dallas you have to ride another train that takes you to downtown Dallas. Lets just say that is the last time we ride the train to Dallas!! We will go to Fort Worth next time. Fort Worth is so much nicer then Dallas. Joshie has so much fun, especially with Aidan there. Uncle Jay also came with us and Joshie really loved that!!!

These are some videos that i took of the kids with my cell phone, so they might not be the best.

The first one is of Joshie. He knows all the sounds that animals make. He says then in his own way but you will get the point. For a dog...he coughs. Its pretty funny. A few weeks ago i taught him what a pig says. That is hilarious!!! He says it a few times and then he laughs after because we are laughing at him.

The second video is of Reese. While Reese and I were in California Joshie was able to go to the circus with daddy, Jer and Mony (that is what he calls Josh's parent..we have no idea why!) Anyway while they where there they got Reese an elephant. She loves it!! Every time she sees it she laughs at it. That is what i am holding in front of her to make her laugh.

~TRIP TO CALIFORNIA~

Well i got back from California on Sunday. This is the first time i have been back to California in almost 4 years. I will admit i cried flying into the airport. I was so excited to be there and to see familiar surroundings!!!!

I did do some of the things i wanted to do. Went to the swap meet, ate at In n Out, Del Taco and Brea's Best!!!! Especially hang out with my friends that i miss the most...Courtney, Erin and Whitney and their kids!!! I wasn't able to make it to the beach :o( I went down there and drove around for an hour to find a parking spot and nothing opened up! I was right next to it and could see the water out of my window.....so close buy yet so far away!!! :o)

Courtney's wedding was absolutely beautiful!!! She looked gorgeous!! She drove up to the ceremony in a Rolls Royce and walked down the isle with her dad and her son escorting her. Courtney and Scott did a really good job planning the wedding. The room where they had the reception was very elegant and the flowers where gorgeous!!!!!! I couldnt get over how beautiful they were!

I miss California so much!!! I wish the price of a home was resonable! Might be the only thing in Texas that i like!!

~THURSDAY THIRTEEN~

haven't done one of these for awhile

I figured since i am heading to California on Wednesday i would list some of the things i am really looking forward to doing while i am there. Even though i am only there for a few short days.

1. Taking Reese to the beach.

2. Collecting seashells (every time someone goes to a beach I've been having them collect seashells for me. Got some coming from Fiji soon!!)

3. The OC swap meet!! Texas doesn't know what a swap meet is!!! :o)

4. Of course seeing all my friends...Courtney, Travie, Allan Family, Whitney, Brenda, Kristy and her new babies, and hopefully being able to see Josh's family.

5. The reason i am going......COURTNEY GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!

6. Visiting my grandma's grave.....Haven't seen it since she passed away.

7. Would love to go to the Disneyland Walk

8. Driving by the houses i use to live in

9. Driving around and seeing how much things have changed in 4 years

10. Just being somewhere that is so familiar to me and feeling like i am home!

I wish i was staying longer and that Josh and Joshie where going with me. I cant wait to take Joshie to Disneyland for the first time!!

~FUN WITH REESE!!~

Alright so i am having way to much fun dressing Reese up and taking pictures of her. She is so photogenic and loves having her picture taken!! My mother in law bought her a dress and then my sister bought her a dress. These are not just everyday dresses, they are a little fancy. So she cant wear them all the time and before we know it she has grown out of it. (She is now 20 lbs!!!) So I have been taking pictures of her in these dresses. SOOOO CUTE!!!! To bad we dont live in CA anymore because i would be putting her into modeling or something like that!! She just gets so excited when she sees the camera. Here are the dresses that she has gotten.

~TEXAS HEAT and CALIFORNIA FUN~

Its so hot here!!!! Yesterday it was 107 and today it is suppose to be 105. You cant do anything outside. So we have been trying to find things to do that include being inside with the air conditioning. Tell me again why we moved to this state? :o) Thankfully for pump it up. That place is fun!!! Its a huge warehouse filled with 6 enourmous bouncy houses. Parents are allowed on them also!! :o)

In a couple of weeks i will be in CA and hopefully it will be nice there. I am looking forward to the beach and of course the Orange County swap meet!! It really is amazing what you miss when you dont have it anymore and what you take for granted. There is so much i want to do when i am in CA. I should have stayed for a week!

For my Texas friends who read this and never travel outside of this state, i will take lots of pictures so you can see what CA is like. Here is one picture of the beach that we use to hang out at.
