MY REESE

Reese and I spent a few hours together this afternoon. Of course i had my camera attached to my eye while we played together on the floor. She is just so photogenic!!!!

Then there is the purse!! This was my purse. I pulled it out of my box of purses a few weeks ago and ever since she has had it on! She loves this thing. She will wear it all day long if we let her. I have showed her how to put her toys in and she stashes things in there that she doesnt want her brother to have!!

Look at those teeth!!! She is getting her k-9's also so i am HOPING that it pushes her front teeth together. Although she has that piece of skin growing in between her teeth that might stop them from going together. Oh i really hope we don't have to have that cut out!!!! After the eye thingy i don't want to put her through anything else!!! Even though i think i am more traumatized about it, she probably doesn't remember it.

This is my niece Taeya, I am pretty sure that she is 4 in this picture. She is now 8!! We were on vacation in Zion with the whole family. We were staying right next to this river and the kids would float down the river for hours. We all had so much fun!! This was right before i even got pregnant with Joshie.

Haven't had a post just about Reese in a while!! So here are some pictures of her. She is getting so big!! She is the all time drama queen too!

MATOES

I got this idea from a friend of mine. She planted a bigger vegetable garden in her backyard. But with the dogs back there and the numerous bunnies i see around here, i didn't think it would be a good idea.

We were at Home Depot this weekend getting flowers for the front yard (my favorite thing to do!!) and i noticed that the veggies were buy one get one free. Well Joshie LOVES tomatoes!!! The little cherry tomatoes..no clue were he gets it from because neither Josh or I like tomatoes. Anyway i thought it would be fun for him to watch them grow and see where they come from. I would love to do a whole garden someday...maybe when the dogs are gone!!! :)

And of course i had to throw my stolen Bluebonnets in here. This is the state flower of Texas. So you are not allowed to pick them let alone up root them and plant them in your front yard!! Well i uprooted 3 of them and only one of them right now is growing....but i have hope for the other ones!! They are so pretty when you see a whole patch of them!!!!

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

THE PARTY

Well the party was a successful party!!!! YEAH!!! When we got there the sky was blue and the weather was nice, but didn't stay that way the whole time. It got windy and the sky started to turn gray, but it was still a great time!! Joshie had such a great time with all his friends that were there. They even had a petting zoo there that day with a zebra!! (Joshie is very into the movie Madagascar right now) We set up our bouncy house that he got last year for his birthday and our friends brought some horse shoes for the older kids! :)

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY

Happy birthday to my little boy! Your are officially 3 years old today. I know every parent says this but i really cant believe how fast these last 3 years have gone by. I miss that little baby that you were. Here are a few things that i love about you and love what you do.

I love that every morning when you wake up you tell me that you slept good.

I love that you love to cuddle in my bed with me and watch tv.

I love when sissy wakes up you give her a hug and say "good morning sissy!"

You are so smart and love doing puzzles all the time.

You are so caring, when I hurt you are always asking me if i am alright and want to kiss my "boo boo."

I love how your ears stick out when you wear a hat..just like they did when you were a baby.

I love your mouth...it is soooo small :)

You are very independent and always want to do things on your own.

You love your family and Grandma's and Grandpa's so much.

I love how everyday you make me smile and you can always make me laugh at anything you say or do!!

I love you Joshie and i hope you have a wonderful and fun filled 3rd birthday!!

PRE EASTER

Last weekend our neighbors invited us to go to their church for their Easter celebration. Josh had to work that morning so i took the kids. They had alot of fun! When we first got there they did the Easter egg hunt. Joshie would only go for the blue eggs because that is his favorite color right now. Then we headed over to see the animals. Joshie wasnt to sure about this but Reese loved it. They had pigs, baby goats, chicken, ducks and rabbits. She loved it!! Then it was time for the bounce houses. Reese was still to little for these. Just when i was about to stick her in one, because there was only a few kids in there, 5 big kids would come. So she was fine with just walking around! While i was sticking a camera in her face!!

Anyway..needless to say the kids had alot of fun. Thanks Stroders for the invite!!! :)

I have found this new blog that i am addicted to reading!! This girl is 27 years old and she has 6 gorgeous kids!! She is very into photography and i think that is why i love it so much!! I love her pictures. Anyway she does this Random Picture Challenge every Saturday. So i thought i would join in. Seems like a fun idea. She picks a date and you have to use that picture from that date NO MATTER WHAT IT IS!!! So today's date is February 2008 or 17th folder and the 33 picture in the folder.

So here is mine and they are not even my kids!!! :)

These two goofy looking kids are my nephews. The one on the left is Jake Ryan and the one on the right is Cole Gregory. They were just a little over 1 when this was taken. They are twins but absolutely nothing alike!!! They are so much fun to sit and watch!
