~19 MORE DAYS~

This was around Easter time. Everyone else was coloring eggs and she got to sit in the big swing for the first time!

Sorry i havent been keeping up on the photos this weekend. I have been glued to the news in California on the internet. The city that i lived in had a big fire right behind the house i use to live in. A few of my friends were so close to the fire they had a mandatory evacuation. I couldnt even imagine having to run through your house trying to decide what you want to keep or what is more important to you. Thankfully everyone that i know there has been safe and their houses are still standing. Cant really say that for everyone around them though.

So anyway i am just going to put this weekends countdown in this one blog.

~SWEET TRICK~

Today we were coming out of the grocery store and I let Joshie get into his car seat by himself. I was putting Reese in her seat and told Joshie to sit down. Of courseI had to repeat myself several times. When I walked over to his side and once again told him to sit down, he looks at me and covers his ears with his hands and says "I cant hear you!!" WHAT!?! He is 2 years old. Now I am dealing with him not eating his lunch and again he is covering his ears and telling me "I cant hear you."
No clue were he has picked that up

~11 MONTHS OLD TODAY~

Well today little miss Reese is 11 months old. I cant believe that in 4 more weeks she will already be 1 year old! This last year since she has been born has definitely been the fastest year of my life!!

Well my friend Becky had a good idea when her son was about to turn 1. The month before his birthday she made a blog countdown. I guess that is what you would call it! :o) Everyday she would put up a different picture of her son from his first year. So since i sit at home and it only takes a few minutes to do it, i am going to try and do that for the next month. If i forget a day i will add it to the next day. :o) I am pretty sure i wont forget!!

Well i hope you come back and see how much she has grown in the last year!!

~CAMPING IN TEXAS~
This last weekend we went camping at our friends house. Yes i said friends house! He has 25 acres in a city called Godley. It was alot of fun and especially fun for all the kids that were there. The little boys, Joshie and Coy, they pretty much hung out in the car and watched tv. When the 4 wheelers came out they made their way out of the car just to ride the 4 wheeler and the tractor. Then for the older boys, Aidan, Chance and Kyle, they also loved the 4 wheeler. They even got to drive it by themselves (of course with an adult on the back.) The boys also loved the guns! Josh brought his shot gun and our friend Justin brought his out also. For Chance and Kyle it was their first time shooting. Aidan didnt want to and i wouldnt let him because his mom wasnt there.

Then there was the dreadful sleeping. My kids didnt take naps that day. There was just way to much going on. Sometimes that is fine for Joshie. He usually can make it through a day without a nap. Reese on the other hand needs a nap. After we finally got her to sleep we laid her down on the air matress that we brought. I was going to sleep there with her and Josh and Joshie were going to sleep on the egg crate that we brought. Well Reese decided that it would be a good idea that she didnt want to sleep by herself and that the only way for her to sleep that night would be on daddy's chest. Everytime we thought that she was finally asleep we would lay her down and she would get so upset and cry. So through out the night we made little changes and by the time that morning came the egg crate was on the air matress with all four of us on it. Josh and I got no sleep!!!! We just keep thinking "the things we do for our kids!!!"

Josh taking the boys for a ride...not sure whats up with the socks! :o)

The bigger kids out exploring

The ride home....Gee i cant imagine why Reese fell asleep
