~GREAT FIND~

Yesterday I went to the second hand store, Kid to Kid, to look for some warmer clothes for the kids. I was searching through all the clothes for Reese looking for a warm jacket and you will never believe what i found hanging on the rack here in Cowboy country!!? I guess that is the reason it was hanging on the rack with all the tags still attached to it.

For those of you who dont know, this is Josh's favorite football team and has been ever since they were in L.A..

~WHY I AM A SAHM~

Yesterday we were getting ready to head to the mall with our neighbors Becky and her son Luke. I was getting Joshie ready and he had horrible bed head. Lately, to control it I have been putting water in his hair and then covering it with hairspray. Anyway, while I was doing his hair yesterday he looks at me and says "I'm so happy!" Just out of the blue. My heart of course melted!!

There are days I wish I still went to work and communicated with adults. When Joshie said that to me, it just reminded me why I do what I do. That is the reason I stay home and be with my kids during the day. That just made my day 100% better!!

~FALL FESTIVAL~

Saturday was Mansfield's Fall Festival. Kids get to dress up in their costumes and there are bouncy houses, hay rides and different company's through out the city come and pass out candy to the kids.

We went with so many people which makes it hard to get around, but i think we all had alot of fun. Joshie was actually excited to dress up in his costume (which is so big on him!!) and little Reese was in her Minnie Mouse costume.

~TEXAS STATE FAIR~

Yesterday all of us went to the state fair here in Texas. Josh even took a half day off at work!! Something he hasnt done since we have lived here and that has been almost 5 years!
It was fun!! Joshie was most excited about the cows. We got pretty close to them and he loved that. The whole day all he said was "I saw cows!" He also went on a kiddie roller coaster and a kiddie train with his cousins Jake and Cole. We had alot of fun and the weather was perfect!!

~REESE'S HALLOWEEN COSTUME~

Here is a couple of pictures i tried to take of Reese in her costume. For the first time she didn't cooperate very well with the pictures.

Joshie on the other hand is no were near ready to put on his costume. He is going to be a pirate and i am not sure he will wear it. So we will see!

~FOR AGES 5+...I DONT THINK SO!~

So last week both the kids had doctor appointments to get the flu shot. After, we walked around Target to get a few groceries. My mom wanted to get Reese a baby doll and i usually get Joshie something little. He is really into the wooden puzzles and is moving into the cardboard puzzles. The big ones that have about 10 pieces in them. Well i let him pick out another one and he got a spongebob puzzle. Not looking at it, i got it for him. We got home to open it and i noticed that it had 70 small pieces in it and on the front of it it said for ages 5+. I just wanted to put it away and forget about it until he was old enough to do it himself. Well everyday he asks us about 10 times "lets make a puzzle?" Well it all paid off because now he can put the whole 70 piece puzzle together himself!!! He gets so excited for himself that he stands on the chair and does the Dora dance. "We did it, we did it, we did it oh ya!!" It is so funny!

~REESE'S NEW BABY DOLL AND HER NEW SMILE!~

My mom wanted to buy Reese a baby doll. She thought it would be time for her to have one so we went to Target and got her this little baby doll and Joshie got a spongebob puzzle. We came home and took the doll out of the box and put it on the floor with Reese. We turned around to do something and when we looked back we saw this....

Isnt this cute!!!! He can be so loving at times :o)

Then later on the same day, i wanted to take a few pictures of Reese with her new baby doll. Like i have said many times before, Reese is a ham infront of the camera. These are the pictures i got and the new smile she just started!!! It is soooo cute!!
